1. General rules
Terms and Conditions contains the general terms of the contractual relationship established when the buyer uses the services of Cartographia Ltd. Issues that are not dealt with in the Terms and Conditions shall be regulated by the Hungarian Republic's substantive laws in force, without further reservations, especially the Civil Code and any other regulations of the Hungarian authorities. Any legal argument between Cartographia Ltd. and the buyer shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts of justice.
Please before sending your order read the following document carefully. In case of any questions regarding the operation of the webshop, the orders or deliveries please contact our Export Department.
By using the website buyer agrees with the general conditions of Cartographia Ltd. The Terms and Conditions are applicable to all buyers. By using the webshop of Cartographia Ltd. the buyer unconditionally and irrevocably accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding. This agreement covers all the countries of the world except Hungary. Accordingly, if either the delivery or the invoice address is outside Hungary, the present terms are applicable. However, provided both the delivery or invoice address is Hungarian, the sales terms and conditions published on the Hungarian-language website apply.
Due to the information network Cartographia Ltd. uses, its website is available from both Hungary and abroad. The English-language Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to delivery and/or invoice addresses outside Hungary. If both the delivery or invoice address is Hungarian, the sales terms and conditions published on the Hungarian-language website apply.

2.2 Buyer
Buyer is anyone who registers on the website of Cartographia Ltd. and/or orders or purchases products or services by means of Cartographia Ltd.’s website and uses the website. Purchases on the webshop are allowed only after a registration on the seller’s website.
3. Ordering, delivery
Cartographia webshop sells maps, atlases and guide books. A purchase on the website can be only done electronically via internet through www.cartographiaonline.com.
The agreement comes into force when the buyer accepts the sales Terms and Conditions on Cartographia Ltd’s website. The condition of purchase on Cartographia Ltd’s website is registration. Orders are sent only when the buyer has accepted the final form of the order form. The seller shall confirm each order by e-mail.
The products ordered will be delivered to the buyer’s address if all sales terms and conditions are satisfied. Freight cost will be given in the order form. The purchased goods might be delivered with standard postal services, or with the forwarders DPD, or Fedex always at the best price.
Provided the ordered publication is available and the entire price indicated on the pro forma invoice has been paid, it will be posted within a week but no later than a month, regardless of location.
All prices displayed on the website are quoted in euro and must be paid in full, including delivery charges. The buyer is responsible for any applicable customs duties or taxes in his or her own country.
3.1 Payment
Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on Cartographia Ltd’s website. Goods will not be shipped unless payment is received in full.

3.2 Damaged goods
If in the unlikely event the buyer’s goods arrive in a damaged condition or are defective, buyer must inform Cartographia Ltd within 8 days stating the invoice number and the nature of the defect or shortage. Failure to do so will deem that buyer has accepted the goods.
Tthe costs of returning the product(s) shall be payable by the buyer. The 8 day term begins when the buyer signs for the delivered package.
3.3 Cancellation right
Buyer has a right to cancel the order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund.The buyer is entitled to return the ordered product(s) to the seller within 8 days. Governmental Decree No. 17/1999 of 5 February 1999 regarding Absent Parties stipulates that the costs of returning the product(s) shall be payable by the buyer. The seller shall return the price of the product to the buyer within 30 days from the receipt of return product(s). The 8 day term available to the buyer for cancellation begins when the buyer signs for the delivered package.
Your right to cancel does not apply to items that have been used or fitted by you.
4. Data protection
The personal information provided by the buyer are accessible exclusively by the buyer and the seller. The seller handles any such data strictly confidentially and shall not disclose them in whole or in part to any third party.
The buyer shall have access to his or her data with a password that the buyer provides and shall have the opportunity to change at any time. Keeping the password a secret is the obligation of the buyer, who shall handle his or her personal data confidentially. The seller shall not be held responsible for the unauthorised use of the password.

All design, text, graphics and the selection and arrangement thereof are the copyright of Cartographia Ltd. Permission is granted to electronically copy and print in hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Cartographia Ltd. or using this site as a shopping resource. Any other use of materials on this site (including: reproduction for purposes other than those noted above and modification, distribution, or republication) without the prior written permission of Cartographia Ltd. is strictly prohibited.
